Game Status Updates

In the first of many hopefully monthly status updates, I'll be talking about where all the games are at, as well as what to look forward to in the future.

I wanted to check in with the status of the projects here at Back Alley Games.

POWERS RPG

• Character playtesting is still an ongoing process, and we are still looking for folks willing to look at it and give us some feedback.
• Core Rules is almost ready for proper testing.  I want to get more written on the power descriptions, and a process for the testing.  Keep an eye on that as I will be posting here when that is ready to go.

Secrets in Space

• A card game set on a derelict spaceship.  Random situations cause a ship to become adrift in space, and your group plays the only survivors fixing the ship and getting home.  Problem is, everybody has a secret that makes working with each other difficult.
• The game is still in the design phase, as each position, ship, and encounter have to have special decks.

Space Pirates

• What is it?  Another RPG game with a new system, the Modular Build System.  The basic story is you play as pirates in space as the galaxy is run by more corporations than governments.  There will be more in the coming months here about the game itself.
• This game is still in the system design phase, and isn't quite ready for testing.
• the Modular Build System will let players choose modules that will give access to the different skills and points.

Company as a whole

• We need writers, designers, and editors.  Working on these games is fun, but there are things I need help with.
• We also need artists and graphic designers.  I can't draw, and I need help with that.

This was just a short update on where we are and what we are working on.  I'm hoping to have an update again in around a month, just to let everybody know what to look forward to.  So be sure to check back for more news.
